Three Cases:1.   V-09-189 1600 Johnson Road;  Applicant seeks a Special Exception to erect a 6.8 foot privacy fence along the side and rear yard property lines. Motion to Defer to January MLPZ Zoning Meeting approved 5-0-1.    Notes:  Motion to defer was made because there is an issue with the fence in relation to the Building Line setback. We requested the Applicant to provide an As-built survey indicating the fence on the survey. The fence is already installed and the Applicant was cited by the City at the instance of the neighbor, Kathy Robinson, who opposes the Variance.2. V-09-191  1305 Pasadena Avenue; Applicant seeks a Variance to reduce the west side yard setback from 7 feet required to 5.5 feet to allow for a second story addition to an existing home.   Motion to Approve per plans submitted with the Application approved 6-0-0.3.  V-09-192 924 Courtenay Drive; Applicant seeks 3 variances:  1) to reduce the required front yard setback from 35 feet to 30 feet;  2) to reduce the west side yard setback from 7 feet required to 1.8 feet; and 3) to allow for an increase in lot coverage from 60% to 62% (whereas 50% is the allowable lot coverage in the district) to allow for a front porch.Motion to approve conditioned on Lot Coverage remaining at 60% or below.6-0-0.Thank you.Trav CarterMLPZ Zoning Committee Chair
