MLPA Security Patrol Package for Condos/ Townhouses/ Apartments HOAs
This service offers patrol coverage of condos/ townhouses/ apartments (CTA) by off-duty and retired City of Atlanta police officers. It includes up to 2 patrols of Home Ownership Association (HOA) complexes every day. It does not include vacation house checks or MLPA membership. (Membership is an individual attribute that is conferred with the purchase of a Security Plus or Basic Membership.) This service is not available to complexes with security gates.
This package is offered on a trial basis for the year 2024. At the end of the year, the MLPA will evaluate how well it has worked to serve the best interests of the neighborhood in general and the HOAs specifically.
Cost for CTA Complexes:
– 4 to 15 units: $300 per year
– More than 15 units: $20 per unit per year. Cost is based on the total number of units, regardless of the number of vacant units or residents who do not want to participate. CTA complexes that adopt the MLPA Security Patrol Package for HOAs will be invoiced December 1 each year to provide services for the upcoming year. Payment is due in full upon receipt for the entire complex in December each year.
HOA Security Patrol Package Benefits:
– Up to two patrols through the CTA community daily by a designated route. These routes are tracked via our QR code system.
– QR codes installed in your community. Officers scan the QR codes when they patrol. The number of QR codes generally aligns with the number of streets in the CTA complex and provide accountability for the patrol.
– Patrol officers are in uniform and drive a marked vehicle. They have full arrest powers in the areas they patrol.
– Up to 4 MLPA Patrol signs with condo/ townhouse/ apartment complex name. MLPA Patrol signs belong to the MLPA.
– Access to security patrol phone number and email address
– One contact for HOA would be included in the MLPA database
– Monthly MLPA newsletters (to be distributed by HOA contact)
– Monthly MLPA Security Reports (to be distributed by HOA contact)
