Morningside Nature Preserve Bridge Closure

City of Atlanta Parks has temporarily closed the Morningside Nature Preserve (MNP) suspension bridge for repairs. The bridge’s current condition is a serious safety hazard. Without the bridge, MNP is divided into two parts on either side of South Fork Peachtree Creek. To reach the east side of South Fork Peachtree Creek (stairs, boardwalk, beach area), use the Lenox Road entrance. To reach the west side of South Fork Peachtree Creek trails, use the Wellbourne Drive entrance or the unmarked Wildwood entrance. Please plan accordingly.
