Morningside Lenox Park families have access to Atlanta’s finest public and private schools along with a variety of child care options. The MLPA School committee serves as a liaison between these institutions and the neighborhood.
Beginning July 1, 2015, Atlanta Public Schools became a Charter System. The adoption of this new operating model allows schools more freedom and flexibility, with parents, educators and community members sharing in the decision making process.
Morningside Elementary, Iman Middle and Grady High are our neighborhood district charter schools.
Several private, independent schools are also close by.
