Vacation Patrol Requests

Vacation checks by the Morningside Security Patrol are a membership benefit for all Security Plus members.  If you are planning a trip out of town and are a current Security Plus member, submit your Vacation Patrol Request here.

 

 

 

 

How Does Vacation Patrol Work?

Before leaving on vacation – and preferably at least 3 days in advance – Security Plus Members should fill out a Vacation Patrol Request. Be prepared to provide the following information when you complete the form:

  1. Date and time of your departure and return
  2. Cars left in the driveway
  3. Visitors we may see at your house
  4. Emergency contact numbers
  5. Whether or not you have stopped delivery services (mail, newspapers, etc.)

Note: Homeowners will be responsible for putting in the vacation requests for their tenants.

After completing the online form, you should receive a confirmation email to let you know that we have received your information. Then, once you depart on vacation, a daily email will be sent when the officer checks on your home with any relevant notes or updates.  Please check spam and junk mail folders for these emails if you do not see them in your inbox.

If you do not receive a confirmation email when you complete the online form: 

  • You may not have used the system correctly. Please try again.  
  • You may need to clear your cache and then try again.
  • The email may have gone to your spam folder.  Please check.
  • The system may be down.  This does not occur often, but please let us know when you are having difficulty with the site by emailing us at either morningsidepatrol@gmail.com or security@mlpa.org.

We do not have a way to enter your information for you.  Sending an email to us does not get your information into the system.
